Dragan Sekaric Shex, Israel Stoicki, Derwin Leiva, Anna Razumovskaya, Alex
Dragan Sekaric Shex was working as an architect in Bosnia and Herzegovina when the civil war broke out in 1992. He moved to Italy, but was unable to remain there because his Ex-Yugoslavian passport had expired and he was unable to return after a group exhibition in 1996 in Montreal. As Canada became his new home he became a full-time artist and started to paint in three different categories: magical realism, figurative and abstract. His sfumato/misty style is very impressive, and his magical realism recalls Emir Kusturica’s 1988 film Time of Gypsies. Visit Shex Art Studio, Toronto, Canada. https://shexart.com
